Cynthia Egger has a breadth and depth to her design portfolio and landscape
experience that has led to her frequent appearances on HGTV and a national
client list.
Cynthia was born into a horticultural family business in Marin County, California.
This area has given her decades of design experience working with beautiful homes and
passionate clients in an area with a full range of micro-climates. Cynthia's portfolio
covers many styles and sizes from cottage garden, Mediterranean or Asian to spectacular designs for
large properties and gated estates.
Cynthia is available for local consultations and for long-distance projects. She
creates wonderful designs for out of State clients.
Designing with Passion and Experience
When Cynthia Egger talks about landscape design, her passion for it is apparent. "Whether I'm helping
someone add a few plants to their yard or doing an entire design, I want that person to be satisfied and
happy," she says," I always tell them, "This is just like adding a room to your house or remodeling;
you want it done right.'"

We have been voted Best Landscape Designer in
the Best of Marin Awards by the readers of the Pacific Sun. We are honored to have
won the award in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and now retired to the Hall of Fame to give the opportunity of "Best of Marin" to another designer. We are fortunate to

Cynthia Egger, a
third generation horticulturist, studied
Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She served as a Landscape
Designer and Horticulture Consultant in the family business, Egger and Son
Nurseries until founding her own firm in 1985. Now based in San Rafael, California, Cynthia Egger Landscape Design provides quality Planting Designs ranging from low maintenance, drought resistant plans to English Perennial Gardens and full conceptual plans for Bay Area residences.
